Thai massage was derived from Thailand and was originally a dramatic massage performed in temples by Buddhist monks to invigorate the whole body and mind.  In Buddhist teaching of traditional Thai full body massage reflects the four divine states of mind, which are: loving, kindness, vicarious joy, compassion and equanimity.  In Thailand it is referred to as Nuad Bo Rarn, Nuad Bo Rarn meaning to touch the ancient or sacred.

Thai full body massage uses yoga positions to help with flexibility and is a very ancient way of healing your body.  It also combines a sort of acupressure with the yoga using thumb pressures to release pressure and trapped energies.  Sometimes Marine Bolus’ are also used containing essential oils, marine salts and aromatic flowers for extra healing properties.  During the full body massage you remain fully clothed in clothing that you are able to have full movement and stretch.
